Ottawa Photographer | Tabaret Hall at the University of Ottawa Campus

Tabaret Hall, University of Ottawa

A photo from the campus of my alma matter, and a building I spent a great deal of time studying in. This impressive structure was first built in 1905, and it sports six monolithic columns from the vantage point of 550 Cumberland Ave. This building features on the University of Ottawa’s logo, and in 1998 it was immortalized on a Canadian Postage stamp. For some dramatic effect here, and a touch of personal symbolism, I’ve quickly added some photoshop effects to emphasize the pillars of strength and flexibility a good education can provide. A joy to photograph, with even fonder memories of academia.
