Jeffrey Meyer now has a new Logo and Watermark thanks to the wonderful and talented work of Canadian graphic artist, Ben Gough. Ben was a great guy to work with, as he offered me with plenty of sound ideas and patience to help me shape a major element of my identity.
Designing a new logo is no easy feat, and the added dynamic that photographers also need a watermark logo to protect their artistic works from the Captain Jack Sparrows of the world, while at the sometime being visually appealing and unobtrusive on a full sea of different pictures, really ratchets up the magnitude of creating a clean and sharp looking design. And compounding the challenge of designing a new logo was also the fact that I actually, perhaps sinfully, liked my originally designed logo with my signature “J” checkmark that I first started using way back in High School when I ran for School President, LOL, but the overall look and feel, as my closest friends and senior political advisors would quickly state was something much to be desired and more representative of my messy, gluey, paper mache days in grade 6 than my professionalism today. LOL
Ok, be nice, I got the message, and teamed up with Ben to modernize both my professional AND fun identity. Thanks Ben!!!
