Wide angle astrophotography by Jeffrey Meyer

Taken with my camera using some behind-the-scenes mathematical calculations to avoid the influence of star trails. A big thanks to Fernando Matias over at http://fmatiasphotography.blogspot.com/ for the inspiration! I’ve always enjoyed looking at the stars, and I hope to begin performing some serious astrophotography in the near future 🙂

I celebrate Thanksgiving Monday with two traditions – an afternoon motorcycle ride in the Gatineau Hills and a turkey dinner in the evening. The opportunity to enjoy all the colours of autumn from the seat of a motorcycle is something quite special, and nothing beats having the wind at your back while carving it up in the hills on a glorious day of sunshine! Don’t leave us too soon colourful leaves! I’m sure I speak for many when I say: We love you…and thanks for the spectacular colour show!
