Your wedding,

photographed with calm and intention

Professional Wedding Photography Across Ottawa and the National Capital Region

I've photographed weddings across Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec for more than a decade. From intimate ceremonies at Ottawa City Hall to grand celebrations at Le Belvedere, Château Montebello, and private family properties, I've had the privilege of documenting a wide range of wedding traditions, cultures, and celebrations.

Every wedding presents its own unique opportunities and challenges. Years of experience working in every season, venue, and weather condition have taught me to adapt quickly, anticipate important moments, and remain calm when timelines change unexpectedly. Whether you're planning a winter wedding in Ottawa, a summer celebration in the countryside, or a cultural wedding rich in family traditions, I bring the flexibility and experience needed to document your day with confidence.

My goal is simple: to create photographs that feel personal, timeless, and meaningful long after the celebration has ended.

My guiding approach as a professional wedding photographer

The images above capture moments from every season, every kind of weather, and every style of celebration, from intimate ceremonies with close family to large weddings surrounded by hundreds of guests.

What matters most to me is creating photographs that feel genuine to who you are. Some couples prefer quiet moments and natural portraits. Others bring energy, laughter, and spontaneous adventure to their day. Rather than forcing every wedding into the same style, I adapt my approach to match your personalities, priorities, and comfort level.

Throughout the day, my role is to be attentive to the people, emotions, and small details that make your wedding unique while remaining unobtrusive when meaningful moments are naturally unfolding. I provide guidance when it's helpful, step back when it's not, and focus on creating an experience that feels relaxed and enjoyable.

The result is a collection of images that tells the story of your wedding day honestly, naturally, and beautifully.

Wedding Photography FAQ

How much do you charge for wedding photography?

Most Ottawa couples invest between $2,000 and $5,000 for wedding photography, with full-day coverage typically ranging from $2,500 to $4,500. For smaller weddings, elopements, and courthouse ceremonies, flexible hourly coverage is also available starting at $389/hr.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept e-transfer, debit, and major credit cards. Credit card payments are subject to a 2.5% processing fee charged by the payment processor.

Do you travel for sessions?

Yes. Travel throughout Ottawa and Gatineau is included, and I am available for assignments across Canada. I have photographed events and projects in cities including Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver, and regularly work on location for clients requiring coverage beyond the National Capital Region. You can view my full service area on the Service Area page.

How many hours of wedding coverage do you provide?

Most couples book between 6 and 10 hours of coverage, depending on their timeline and the moments they would like documented. Every wedding is different, so I work with you to determine the right amount of coverage, whether that means a simple ceremony, a full day of celebrations, or anything in between.

Can you help build a wedding photography timeline?

Yes. I work with couples to build a realistic photography timeline that fits their day and ensures the moments that matter most are captured. One of the most common planning mistakes is underestimating how much time family photos, wedding party portraits, travel between locations, and other photographic moments require. A well-planned timeline helps keep the day relaxed, organized, and enjoyable while ensuring there is enough time to create beautiful photographs without feeling rushed.

How long does it take to receive my photos?

Most galleries are delivered within 5-10 days. When images are needed for media, marketing, publication, or social media purposes, expedited delivery is often available. Weddings and events typically include a sneak peek gallery within 48 hours.

Do you provide a preview gallery?

Yes. You’ll receive a preview gallery of highlight images within 48 hours so you can begin sharing and enjoying your wedding photographs while the full gallery is being professionally edited.

How many photos will I receive?

The number of images delivered depends on the type and length of your session. Rather than working toward a specific photo count, I focus on capturing the moments that matter and delivering a carefully curated gallery of professionally edited images. My goal is for you to receive the strongest photographs from your session, not just the largest number of files.

How do I receive my photos?

You’ll receive a private online gallery where you can view, share, and download your images in high resolution. Galleries are optimized for both desktop and mobile devices, making it easy to access your photographs whether you are sharing them with family, friends, colleagues, or your marketing team.

Do you offer prints?

Yes. I offer professional-quality prints and custom framing for many portrait and fine-art images. Prints up to 13 × 19 inches can be produced by me in-house, while larger pieces and specialty products can be arranged through trusted professional print labs.

Do you edit all the photos?

Yes. Every image delivered in your final gallery is carefully reviewed and professionally edited for color, exposure, tone, and clarity. My goal is to ensure your photographs look polished, consistent, and true to the moment.

Do you help organize family photos?

Absolutely. I work with your coordinator, designated family members, or wedding party to keep group photographs organized and efficient. Whenever possible, I recommend completing family and group photos early in the day so everyone can return to enjoying the celebration while we spend more uninterrupted time creating portraits of the couple. A little planning goes a long way toward keeping the day relaxed and stress-free.

Do you do videos as well?

Yes — however, my primary focus is photography. I have all the equipment needed for videography, so I can provide short video clips for certain projects when requested. For full video production, I can handle videography while my business partner focuses on the photography. You can see the full list of equipment I use on my My Gear page.
